Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

Lance's ears flatten as Julie addresses him, and he tenses, ready to spring.

Julie: What? you don't like being called whelp? tell me your name then. You know how to do that.

This time Julie's voice does not sound human to Obsidian, being nothing but a series of growls and soft barks, But the wolf in Lance understands it. Before Lance can respond Julie switches tone and her words become clear to Obsidian again

Julie: besides i can't support Echo's frame. Even Siegfried would be stretching it. Lance could carry either one, but he'll need to calm down a fair bit before he'll understand that.

Obsidian nodded and tried to fish for the bullet fragment in Echo's wound. "Lance...I know you can understand SOME of what I'm saying. We need to move Sig so we can make sure he's gonna recover...so either you can understand that and carry him, or Julie's gonna have to. We do not have time for a long debate on this." He kept his voice loud enough to hear, but not shouting.

The wolf lowers his head, pushing his nose under Siegfried's arm.

Julie picks her head up slightly and looks down the road away from the gas station.

Julie: Police cars. We don't have long before they're here. whatever we do had better be quick.

Obsidian looked over. "He seems to get it. I'll help get him tied on and we'll get them back to the house." And he was NOT about to deal with the police right now. That was the last thing he could manage. Since there wasn't much else to use, Obsidian used what remained of his shirt to help tie Siegfried to Lance's back.

Without the shirt, his tattoo's were much easier to see. They had alternating thick and thin lines and symbols were flowing up the arms and across his chest and back. It was...rather elaborate and definitely seemed odd. "Right...Lance, we're heading back for the house. After that, you'll need to either change back or hide, since I doubt the police would enjoy the idea that I have ANY sort of animal around the grounds."

The wolf seems to relax a little as Obsidian straps Siegfried onto him; as soon as he's secured, the wolf is off like a shot, darting across the landscape, careful to balance Siegfried so he doesn't fall.

Julie: well he's not much of a talker yet, but he is smart. Will you be okay getting Echo back alone? I should stick around for a bit and give the police something to chase. That should distract them enough that they won't come knocking for a while.

"I'll manage." Obsidian smirked. "Don't worry. I won't drop him. I'm sure you have even more questions than I do for this guy." So, all he had to do for now was get him on the bike in front of him and he'll have to take it a bit slow, but it should work long enough to get back.

When they reach the house, there's no sign of the wolf; however, following Julie's nose, they find him in Siegfried's bedroom, waiting patiently beside the bed, needing help to get Siegfried off his back.

Once Obsidian managed to make it to the house, only made a few stops before heading to find Lance and Siegfried. He grabbed the first aid kit and, once he'd properly bandaged up Echo's leg, he then went to track down Lance and Siegfried. It took a little bit, as he tried Lance's room first, but once he did catch up to them, he was quick to untie him and help get Siegfried into his bed.

The wolf jumps onto the bed next to him, laying down against his side so he can rest his head on Siegfried's shoulder protectively.

Obsidian frowned as he looked Siegfried over. This was...pretty bad, but he looked alright for now. "Lance...keep an eye on him. When he wakes up, come get me." As far as he could tell, Sieg wasn't going to get much better with anything he could do. So he needed to check back in with Echo.

The wolf gives a brief nod, then rests his head back on Siegfried's shoulder.

Obsidian heads back for the room he left Echo in, frowning. It had been a little while and Julie wasn't back...and he STILL had to figure out what exactly happened and if they now had to worry about Siegfried or Echo turning into wolves... "Damnit, should have kept some of those notes." Even if they were old and rather untrustworthy, it'd be better than all this guessing he had to do."
