And so they reach the convertible, which Siegfried is idling out front.

Obsidian walks over to the driver's side. "So, you coming with?" He could think of a couple of reasons Siegfried might want to give Lance a piece of his mind, and wasn't above letting him do so.

Siegfried nods. "Yeah, I'll drive, it's fine. You might want to jump out in a hurry or something."

Julie: two things, I call shotgun, and are you really okay with leaving Echo like this? I mean he is still pretty messed up and there is only so much that Morden can do for him.

[CalamityJade]

"I'm sure he'll probably stay put...besides which, I doubt he'd be able to leave without that accountant noticing and he's probably not liable to let him leave without questioning him to death." He chuckled and moved to one of the back seats. "And that doesn't bug me in the least. It'll give me time to think."

Siegfried lowers his head a little. "I think we won't be gone too long, right?"

Julie: Would one of you two fine fellows what currently own opposable thumbs get the door or put the top down? I can't exactly work the door right now.

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian shrugged before opening the door for Julie before getting into the back seat. "So, shall we?"

Siegfried nods. "Which way?"

[accalia]

Julie: your guess is as good as min right now. i was expecting to track him on foot. the motorcycle changes things a fair bit. Obsidian, got any ideas where he might have gone?

[CalamityJade]

"Well, he had to have taken the main road out of here if he took my bike...so knowing him, he probably would have headed away from the city from there." It made sense. He wanted to avoid people and figured that leaving town completely would do that. Damn him for pulling a stunt like this, tho.

Siegfried nods, putting the car in gear. "Right, then let's stop wasting time."

[accalia]

As the car starts moving Julie uses one paw to depress the window down button and sticks her head out of the window. After a moment her tongue lolls out of her mouth in an expression of doggy bliss.

Obsidian couldn't help but crack up a bit at that. Seriously, is that just a thing that happens or....anyway, he shakes his head. "So...did anyone see him at all around lunch?"

"He was there when I  brought up a tray, but he seemed distracted."
