Julie: The wolf never goes away, no. But it can be quiet for a remarkably long time when it wants to be.

"Ten years?"

Julie: I doubt it, the Bitch always makes at least some noise at the full moon and she can't help but speak up in wolf form. I think it's more likely that he's just been stubbornly resisting the wolf this whole time without asserting dominance and has been slowly slipping closer and closer to the edge these last ten years.

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian frowns. "....I don't think the problem is him running from it...least not directly. Won't know till I ask him, tho."

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried sighs. "Perhaps I should approach him when we find him..."

Julie: well step one, no matter what our plan is would be to find him. Anyone got any ideas on how we can do that?

[CalamityJade]

"We need a direction...and considering I didn't fill that bike up on the way back, he'll have to stop for gas...damn this WOULD be easier if I'd had more time to learn."

[yamikuronue]

"To  learn...?"

[CalamityJade]

"Some of the references I used for my tattoos had other spells in it...but, since I figured I wouldn't really have to track Lance down, I didn't bother." Obsidian sighed. "I was rather limited in what I could do."

Julie: Well let's start with what we do know.... What can you do?

[CalamityJade]

"The tattoo gives me a couple of things I thought would be useful in a fight so I wouldn't end up in the same position as Lance...and I might be able to find him within maybe a couple hundred yards, but that's honestly it. You can imagine that it was difficult to get what I have while in prison, after all...they weren't the kind of books you find in a prison library."

Julie: okay, so that's something. Can you explain how you'd be able to find him if he was closer?

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian sighed. "We're related by blood. One of the things that I tried to add was something to keep him from sneaking up on me, but I couldn't get it to work for more than a couple hundred yards. Probably because I had to have a tattoo put on in prison with special ink rather than spending several years learning enough to do without it."

Julie: hmm... Well that's a bummer. Know anything about aura manipulation? or maybe soemthing about leylines?

[CalamityJade]

"No idea about aura manipulation...though there WAS something about leylines. Seemed mostly so you could use spells without having to use your own energy for them...which only works where they cross, yeah?" To be honest, it seemed less than useful, since he'd have to be sure there was a crossing where he'd fight, which limited your battlefields.
