"So maybe, again, I should stick around." Obsidian seemed rather insistent. "For one, it'll give me a chance to figure some other things out about this, and second, you'll know that the wolf won't get too far."

[yamikuronue]

"Because given a chance, he will kill you! You're in my territory, threatening me constantly, always nagging at the edge of my consciousness, and you call this safe?" Lance rubs at his temples, ignoring his uncle.

[accalia]

Julie shrugs expressively.

Julie; Safer than any of my other options. Besides, as I said before, if the Bitch cannot keep herself safe and in one piece then maybe it is time for her life to be ended.

[yamikuronue]

"Don't fucking joke about that," he snaps.

[accalia]

Julie: I'm not joking. I've lived eighty years and more with the wolf. I have lived through over a thousand full moons. I've lived a long life, and I'm starting to get tired of the struggle. It's not that I want to die, but should that happen then I will have no regrets.

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian frowned at Julie. "Look, I don't know how you're life has been, but I doubt the kid needs another stone added to the load he's already carrying." He was not about to let Lance weigh himself down any farther than he has. "So...this place is big and you need  somewhere to not run wild. Lance or Sieg, anything like that on the grounds?"

[yamikuronue]

Lance is about to snarl something uncivil when Siegfried speaks up: "There is a barn and back pasture? Though I suspect she could jump the fence."

[accalia]

Julie: that would not be an issue. I just need to be away from humans that would get scared of me and shoot a wolf... or worse. If that's acceptable to you Lance?

[yamikuronue]

"No, it's not fucking acceptable. The minute he gets wind of your scent he'll hunt you down himself."

Siegfried clears his throat. "Forgive me, I am still new to this, but... you are similar to real wolves, yes? What about a controlled introduction? Allow them to sort out dominance and grow used to each other under controlled circumstances?"

[accalia]

Julie: He's had my scent in his nostrils since i arrived here. just as the Bitch has had his. Leaving now won't change that.

[yamikuronue]

"And he's been driving me fucking mad every time you walk in the room," Lance snaps, suddenly putting two and two together. "No wonder I want to punch you all the time," he mumbles.

[accalia]

Julie: Indeed, Just as his anger feeds into you, your anger feeds right back into him. Thankfully now that you realize it you can break the feedback cycle.

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian pinched the bridge of his nose. "Look, the kid thinks it's dangerous, and since he's not trying to kick everyone out right now, I'm willing to believe him. Sieg, try to find another place were Julie can be comfortable. Julie, you're probably right, but maybe after the full moon when he's not sweating about losing control. Maybe even try what Sieg suggested, but it won't suddenly get worse over the next three days, right? So they'll be plenty of time to solve that afterwards."

He turned back to Lance. "One, I'm sticking around. If you think the Wolf's gonna be that big of a problem, then I better make sure he can't get past me. Two, after the full moon we're figuring out how you can stand her bein around without constantly wanting to hit her. Be annoyed with, fine, but not trying to actually hurt her."

"Now, if anyone has a problem with any of that, it can ALSO wait till after the full moon." Obsidian seemed to wait for any sort of reply.

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried says, quietly, "The moon won't start affecting the Young Master until tomorrow, correct? We could experiment tonight, therefore knowing for sure whether it will be a problem. If not, Julie could say with us. If so, I could find a place to settle her in the morning."

Lance erupts into a shout: "You're not staying either! Goddamnit!"

"Wait...so you wanna try introducing them now, meaning I'll likely have to break up a fight between the two of them, for the chance that they'll...make up after one meeting?" Obsidian sighed. "Realistically, this is going to take a while, which will go a lot better if Lance isn't worried about killing anyone, which he's not gonna do till after the full moon." Obsidian pinched the bridge of his nose. "And since I'm sure you didn't stay through every single full moon since he got here, why are you being quite this insistent this time?"
