"siegfried thinks otherwise and asked for help. that's good enough for me"

Julie is sitting in front of her food waiting, she's clearly avoiding eating first as that would be claiming to be Alpha and she's trying to be diplomatic. It's also fairly obvious that her resolve to wait is slowly weakening.

[yamikuronue]

Wolf snorts. "He is not Alpha." As though that settles the point, he sits in front of his bowl and begins eating.

[accalia]

"Siegfried might not be alpha, but neither am I a member of your pack. that structure does not apply to me."

Julie continues waiting until Wolfie has finished eating before starting her own meal.

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian frowned. "He was asked to make sure this place is good for everyone, and I asked him to do what he could. " HE shook his head, realizing exactly HOW familiar some of this sounded. "At least we can communicate without me having to guess."

[yamikuronue]

Wolf growls softly at Julie. "You are nothing. You do not belong here."

[accalia]

"I am a guest of Siegfried, He has invited me, so long as i do not attack the pack and he does not retract his invitation i have sanctuary here."

[CalamityJade]

"Which is how it basically works. Granted, that also doesn't give her license to use that immunity to mock any of the pack members." O takes a bite out of his sandwich. "So since the two of you can talk, I don't expect any more problems. Right?"

Wolf growls. "We understood each other just fine. She's a cruel irreverent bitch and I hate her." Irreverent? How the heck did he come up with 'irreverent'? This must not be an entirely literal process; in truth, Lance's mind holds plenty of words for what Wolf feels, and Wolf doesn't think in words anyway, so it's all a process of approximation. With time he'll get better at shaping his thoughts into a more human-like pattern... or he won't, and he'll go feral, losing what limited speech ability he's discovered thus far.

[accalia]

"you flatter me, i had no idea you thought so highly of me"

Julie is clearly happy at the description, her tail is wagging slightly.

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian sighed. "You know, you could also help by not baiting him."

[accalia]

Julie practically rolls her eyes at that comment

"I'm a bitch, that's what we do."

Wolf snorts, biting at his paws.

"And I don't have to like it." Obsidian pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't know what you think you're doing, but antagonizing him is only going to get you a fight. You want him to fight you harder, that might work. Anything else really isn't gonna fly."

[accalia]

"picture me shrugging, what he does is up to him. the only reason i would care what he does would be if he goes feral, because then i'd have to try to kill him."

a pause

"I say try because he'd certainly win that one, but i would still have to try."

[yamikuronue]

"damn straight," Wolf snarls.

In that moment, and for the first time this conversation, he sounds eerily like his human brain-mate; if O closes his eyes, he could see Lance, younger and more impulsive, insisting that it's perfectly safe to go hunting alone in the woods, because if he met a bear, he'd punch it in the face. Nothing and no-one could dissuade him once he'd decided on a course of action before the incident.
