Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

O gave a bit of a sigh. "No need to...to get cocky." He took a bite of his sandwich and tried not to think too much about the past.

Now that Wolfie had finished eating and Obsidian ahd started as well. Julie begins heating ehr food with great enthusiasm.

"Why not?"

This was almost the same answer Lance had given him last time he'd told him not to get cocky; of course, Lance had gone on to add, 'I'm the best.'

"Never mind." Obsidian shook his head. "Just...don't act like you're unbeatable. Ever."

[yamikuronue]

Wolfie cringes a little, rolling onto his back. "No. You beat me."

[accalia]

"hmm? did i miss an interesting story there?"

Julie has finished her food and is sitting attentively looking straight at Obsidian.

[CalamityJade]

"Not an interesting story." Obsidian shook his head. "Just a fight." A fight he'd prepared for and found...less than willing to finish out how he thought. "And dwelling on your past is a good way to keep from learning anything."

Wolf rolls back over, laying on his belly.

"so you're going to tease me by telling me that much of the story and not finishing the story?"

[CalamityJade]

"There's no damn story! We fought. I won. That's it." Well, THAT seemed to hit some sort of nerve

[accalia]

Julie looks smug, but drops the subject for now.

"hmph, as you say then. Now what?"

[CalamityJade]

"Now...we take a bit of a run and then I figure it out from there." He had no idea what usually happened, but he doubted the Wolf was going to get into too much if he was there. And he COULD stop him if he needed to.

At that, Wolf perks right up, hopping to his feet eagerly. Run!

Julie's tail starts wagging vigorously at the mention of a run!

After a long morning in an airport and a short flight Morden, Siegfried and Echo disembark at another airport. According to the flight listings there's about half an hour wait until their connecting flight.

Echo had some trouble getting through security, there had been some doubt as to the veracity of his identification documents, and had napped fitfully on the first flight.
