"I...well, I was hoping that you would specify your intentions, though I have to agree. For what reason do you have business with Echo?" And maybe why you seem to know him. There was woefully little information in the regard of Echo's past.

Siegfried, almost unaware of it, moves to put himself just a bit more between Echo and this newcomer.

The newcomer looks over the group as she brushes off her jeans. "Right, that's a longer story than we have time for right now."

[accalia]

"This one thinks that there should be time made for the short version at least, in the spirit of fostering trust."

[CalamityJade]

"Are we in a particular hurry?"

[yamikuronue]

"Maybe. I didn't get a lot of information, kind of playing this one by ear, but I tend to assume we are. I wouldn't be given this assignment if we weren't." She flashes a winning, cheeky smile, reaching down to hoist a tote bag over her shoulder.

[accalia]

"that's hardly an explanation that makes sense. would thoust.... thou... would you care to try again?"

Morden wonders for a moment if this was how he sounded when he was fully immersed into an interesting topic to people around him. "I do not believe we are under such a duress of time that you couldn't introduce yourself and explain what business you have with us. At the very least, it would be polite.

The girl sticks out her hand to shake. "The name's Vi."

[accalia]

Echo bows slightly

"Well met neighbor Vi, this one is known as Echo"

[yamikuronue]

"Is it?" she asks, raising an eyebrow. "That's fitting. Well met, Echo."

[CalamityJade]

Morden took the offered hand. "Greetings as well, I am Morden."

[accalia]

Echo stands up again from the bow.

"And this is Siegfried, Now that introductions art, are completed what is thou, your business here?"

[yamikuronue]

"You won't believe me, but I'm here to help." She smiles, adjusting her bag.

[CalamityJade]

"Help with what?" This was giving him a few warning signs, but Morden was still rather curious. Why was she unable to be read, and what was with the odd feeling he was getting. Either way, she already seemed to have a lot of information about themselves.

[accalia]

"this one agrees, the nature of th-your help would be important"

Echo seems to be getting somewhat of a grip on his "anacronistic-tourettes" as the conversation progresses.
