Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

"Almost encoraged at times." Morden had the decency to look a little sheepish. "Hopefully you did not spend all night here."

[accalia]

"hmmm.... most of it, yes. This one feels more comfortable being able to see the stars, at least when the weather is warm enough for such things."

Echo moves to get up, it takes a bit as he's fairly stiff, but eventually Echo stands to greet Morden and Siegfried properly.

"There was also the matter of the conversation last night, This one had much to think about on that score."

Siegfried's mood sobers. "Are you alright?"

"No, this one does not think that is an accurate word to describe this one. This one thinks that this has been the case for a long, long time. But, there is no pain, other than that of bad memories half, or more, forgotten. Rather, for now, there is simply much to think about."

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried walks over to place a hand on Echo's shoulder. "Any conclusions?" he asks, quietly.

[accalia]

Echo accepts the gesture without comment, turning to address Siegfried more fully.

"As of yet.... no. There is more to think about there. Has our strange guest been seen about today yet?"

[yamikuronue]

Speak of the devil -- Vi rounds the corner, wearing  a white bikini with violet petals drawn in an artistic sprawl across it, carrying a massive hurricane glass full of some bright orange drink with an umbrella stuck in the top.

"You guys! You guys, they have drinks with tiny umbrellas! Ohmygod, you have to get one, they're soooo good!" she slurs, way too cheerily.

Morden couldn't help but chuckle a little. "You may want to drink them a little less enthusiastically. I'm sure the tiny umbrellas are not going anywhere."

At Vi's entrance Echo bows and spends a moment fishing through the paper cranes scattered about his feet, coming up with one that is significantly smaller than the rest and looks much more detailed and lifelike as well.

"Good morning strange and kindly one. This one hopes your night was well."

Echo speaks while offering Vi the tiny paper crane, he seems somewhat proud of the work that created the crane.

Vi grins, taking the paper crane gently. "Wow! You did this? It's awesome!"

[accalia]

Echo shrugs deprecatingly

"It is a small talent, This one learned it to keep ones hands busy while freeing the mind for thought. A form of meditation it would be."

[yamikuronue]

"Wicked cool." She plops down in the next chair over, placing the little crane on the table between them, then placing the paper umbrella atop it, tucked in gently so the crane looks like it has a parasol.

"So, I take it you slept well." Morden gave a slight indication to Vi. He had hoped to learn a little more about her, which may be easier now that she's apparently had a few of those drinks.

Echo straightens up when vi takes the crane and fishes around in the pile for two more, these ones are less detailed than the one Echo presented to Vi, the detail work on the wings however... When looked at from the right angle Echo seems to have written Morden and Siegfried's names on the wings using nothing but the folds of the paper.

"This one is pleased it meets with your approval" Echo comments as he hands the two new cranes to Siegfried

Siegfried takes the crane, peering at it closely. "Wow! Very clever!"
