Just a Little Change... [Finished]

"Great." And then Lance is gone, and Siegfried.. seems to breathe a little easier, now that Morden's paying attention. His shoulders seem to release some tension, though he remains rather formal as he takes his plate over to the table.

"Please excuse my intrusion," he says to O as he pulls out a chair to sit.

He waves Siegfried off. "Stop it, alright? You should know by now I'm not some sticker for that kinda shit." He then goes back to eating his food.

Morden DOES take note of that, frowning slightly. So it was an act? And one for only a couple of people's benefit.

Siegfried eats silently and rapidly, looking over the newspaper that's been on the table this whole time while he does.

Morden cleared his throat. "Siegfried, could you help me with some bookkeeping later this morning?"

"Of course." He smiles, patiently, looking up from his paper.

Siegfried finishes his food rapidly, getting up to clear the table as soon as he's finished his bacon. "Does anyone require more coffee?" he asks as he starts stacking dishes in the sink.

Julie pads into the room at that point. She looks pretty odd, a wolf wearing a belted bathrobe and carrying a pair of pink fluffy slippers in her mouth. She's been spending a lot of time in wolf form since Echo's.... death. It seems the events of that day affected her more than she wanted to let on. She also seems to have stopped trying to out-alpha Lance so they've been getting along somewhat better than they were before.

Without comment, Siegfried takes the last plate he'd set aside -- the one with a good deal of bacon, slightly undercooked, and nothing else -- and places it on the floor where she can get to it.

Morden gave a smile to Julie as she came in before turning to Siegfried. "Do you need a hand?"

He smiles. "If you could check on the baby, I'd appreciate it." That said, he reaches for a crock on the windowsill, taking out a mixing bowl and some flour as well.

Morden gave a little smile. "Alright, but I still hope to speak with you later." He gave a nod to those present before heading back to check on the baby.

Julie stares at the plate for a long moment before

"YPPP?!"

oh. right. the slippers.... also wolf form.... A long and visually unpleasant moment later and Julie is kneeling on the floor adjusting the robe to better cover herself. She looks up at Morden and asks in a dry and crackly voice. "Any eggs? And Coffee?"

Siegfried intercepts, grabbing the coffee pot. "Coffee, coming right up," he says, cheerfully. "I can have eggs in but a moment. Sunny side up?"

Julie blinks again.... she is not much of a morning person lately... Slowly standing up and grabbing the plate of bacon.

"Scrambled? with the bacon in?" She asks, pausing a beat before apparently remembering her pleasantries "And thank you."

"Of course." He digs out another fry pan, moving to the refrigerator to get some eggs.
