"That's fair," she says with a nod. "He's not even eighteen yet, is he?"

Tony shrugs. He never did actually ask Vic how old he is.

[yamikuronue]

Kate sighs. "You should probably ask people things like that when you take them in, Tony. For example, what if today was his birthday and you didn't even know?"

[accalia]

"Third cabinet from the left, top shelf, behind the cornmeal" Tony replies, he might not know Vic's birth day but he's prepared if that information is ever presented.

Kate rubs her forehead. "Wow," she begins, but the giggles start halfway through the word, and before long she's laughing out loud. "Don't ever change," she laughs, wiping a tear from her eye.

Tony smiles as the scent of bacon starts filling the kitchen "I don't plan on changing any time soon, what about you?"

"Never. You're stuck with me like this."

[accalia]

"Of course." Tony agrees "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Soon enough, Vic stumbles downstairs, following his keen nose. "'lo, Kate," he mutters, taking a spot at the table.

"Good morning," she says cheerily. "There'll be bacon in a moment, help yourself to orange juice."

"Sleep well?" Tony asks his young ward, sipping his.... fortified orange juice.

[yamikuronue]

"eh." he says, shrugging.

Kate smirks. "That means no," she stage-whispers to Tony.

[accalia]

'I'm not so old i forgot how to translate teenager to human." Tony quips in reply, smiling broadly at the same time.

[yamikuronue]

"You act like it sometimes. When was the last time you went and had fun?"

[accalia]

Tony thinks for a moment "Well.... i went to a wedding with a work acquaintance recently." he finally offers in response.

Kate laughs. "I deserve that. But, ouch, acquaintance?"
