The Family [Finished]

[yamikuronue]

"Poor couch," commiserates Vic. "It's probably smarter to sleep in a bed though."

[accalia]

"Feels wrong, but.... well i can't afford a new couch right now and the floor ain't gonna happen." Tony admits "how was the date?"

[yamikuronue]

He reddens. "it wasn't a date. Uh, look, do you want your old room back? I can move."

[accalia]

"It's yours now." Tony asserts "Too many bad memories in that room to go back there. it's why i was using the couch in the first place."

[yamikuronue]

"Okay. Just checking." He hesitates, then adds, "You could probably make some money selling those dresses, you know. Repaint. Make it nicer."

[accalia]

'Tell you what, sell the dresses and we'll use some of trhe money to paint the room a nice shade of manly blue, or maybe a neutralish grey" Tony offers, seemingly unconcerned with the concept, almost interested actually.

[yamikuronue]

Vic nods, a twinge of regret in his heart almost showing on  his face. It's a shame, they're so pretty...

[accalia]

"You don't have to sell all of them if you don't want to" Tony continues, having not looked at Vic, but having apparently guessed a likely reaction "keep some, just in case sort of thing."

[yamikuronue]

"I won't use them," he says, a hint of a quaver in his voice.

[accalia]

"Either way then. Now are you going to tell me what happened on your not-a-date with Bear? or shall i be curious forever?"

[yamikuronue]

"Uh... we ate ice cream," Vic begins, awkwardly. "I kind of let slip you have a girlfriend now."

[accalia]

Tony slips and lands heavily on a knee, he hadn't even admitted the affair..... no it was more profound than an affair.... the..... something.... with Kate to Vic..... How had Vic arrived at that conclusion?!~

"what?" Tony asks weakly.

[yamikuronue]

"You went on a date, right? So you have a girlfriend now."

[accalia]

"Uhh..... That's not.... that's not.... but."

[yamikuronue]

There's a knock on the door! Vic scampers over to answer it.
