The Family [Finished]

[yamikuronue]

Vic winces. "You shouldn't antagonize them." His voice holds all the resignation of someone who fully expects his advice to be ignored.

[accalia]

"I'm beginning to suspect this is the case." Tony agrees.

[yamikuronue]

Vic starts. Must have been bad, to make him agreeable.

"...I'm sorry," he says, softly.

[accalia]

"Don't be. got myself into this, stupidly too."

[yamikuronue]

"Then... then thanks," he says, forcing a smile onto his face.

[accalia]

"you're welcome." Tony says before sighing "Of course this means i have to ask the question."

[yamikuronue]

Vic tilts his head, curious.

[accalia]

"I think I want to ask Kate to marry me." Tony admits blushing furiously enough to be visible through the developing bruises "Would that bother you?"

[yamikuronue]

Vic blinks. "Uh... no." He concludes, blushing faintly. It seems awful fast. And there's still the matter of unresolved.... weird feelings in his gut. But. He wants Tony to be happy.

[accalia]

"You sure?' Tony asks "I thought I saw some attraction between you and her. I don't want to make things too awkward...."

[yamikuronue]

"me and--" Vic chokes. "I'm not attracted to Kate. I like boys. Men."

[accalia]

'Oh..... Sorry. Guess i misread you there." Tony doesn't seem to think that he could be the target of Vic's affections, at least.... not in that way.

[yamikuronue]

Vic looks at his lap. "I... it would be weird, though," he confesses.

[accalia]

"How so?"

[yamikuronue]

"well, I.... uh..."

He stares at his hands, voice barely audible. "Nevermind."
