Echo usually cannot hear Sylphia's name, but depending on his exact state he can occasionally talk about her.

He's told Siegfried two versions of his origin story by now, both conflicting but siegfried would not have sensed any lying.

Siegfried has met a presence in the aether when he was looking for Echo, one that feels very much like the one that occasionally rides Echo. This presence is feminine, but stressed, scared, and not whole. He was attacked by that presence the first time he met her in the aether, and managed to talk to it, if briefly the second.

Siegfried has also met a ghost on the aether, Ms. Schreien , who seemed to have some knowledge about Echo, or at least his position as being excluded from the Aether in the manner this possibly occurred. Ms. Schreien  referred to it as unnatural, but stopped short of calling it an abomination.

BTW: Accalia intended Echo's origami to be a prod for Siegfried to think of his interactions with "not-Echo" on the Aether...

I'm not sure if it's important (or even id Morden would know this) or not but the magic circle Echo was sketching was a basic two way circle of protection. Nothing fancy about it, unless one puts in absolutely stupid amounts of power into the invocation anyway.

Basically it keeps what's outside outside, and what's inside inside, and is not a very nice place at all if you're between the two circles (that tends to be fatal in very interesting ways)

Huh....that's interesting. and rather disappointing levitation powers they are..... They only work because Echo believes that there is something to hold where he is gripping. if he ever is allowed to notice that he's not holding what he thinks he's holding they'll stop working.

Echo used to be much better at magic than he is now, but all that knowledge (other than how to heal in possibly the most terrible way possible (he used to know other ways to heal that did not involve self mutilation)) is locked away from him, so he can only access it when he doesn't know he is.

and of course he normally wouldn't be folding these other shapes because he would be paying attention to what his hands are doing and that would break the vector for the other shapes to emerge.
