As far as I can tell, Rob's got three(?) possible options here:

Investigate the old ruins; not sure that would lead to anything though.
Talk to Mordriana; is she still comatose? She was last I knew.
Investigate Erika's 'faked Welcomed' thing; would distract from his assigned task though.

Not sure which direction to pick...
