"...yes, but because he's a slaver, and abusing his wife. Probably. Not because he..." Zevran takes a deep breath. 

[Carver Amell]

"I mean, I know you and Bela have... arrangements... but this is a little far, ain't it?"

[Tethras Clan]

"If he was who he seemed, a mere noble with a willing wife, I would be pleased for her," Zevran says carefully. "I have no issue with her having lovers, even ones we do not share or ones I do not know. I merely dislike this particular one."

[Carver Amell]

"Which is, ya know, weird, but whatever. The point is, she knows you don't like him, and she knows why. So isn't it, I dunno, rude for her to fuck him?"

[Tethras Clan]

"A bit," Zevran says slowly. "But I... I think this is a lesson she has to learn for herself. And Isabela learns best by holding her hand to the fire of her own accord."

[Carver Amell]

"That sounds..." he begins, closing Olocaryn's dresser drawer full of shirts. "Well." He moves for the bathroom, to search.

[Tethras Clan]

"Painful?" Zevran offers bleakly.

[Carver Amell]

"Sure. Painful works." I was going to go with 'stupid'. 

[Tethras Clan]

"I mean for us," Zevran murmurs. 

[NPCs]

The only two things of note in Olocaryn's wardrobe is the half dozen pouches of coins (twenty gold, ten silver each) and the lack of underthings for him.

[Carver Amell]

"Oh," says Carver quietly, pocketing the coins. "Yeah."

A moment later, he changes the subject a bit: "What if she gets a disease?"

[Tethras Clan]

"What do you think the health checks ups are for?" Zevran says with a shrug as he searches the loveseat. "'twould not be the first time, for her or myself. Though my ring helps with that these days." Technically parasites for myself. Lice is foul.

[Carver Amell]

"Seems like a really dangerous way to live."

[Tethras Clan]

"No more than most other ways really. Every path has its own dangers," Zevran replies. "Monogamous people have just as many abusive or diseased lovers as poly really." 

[Carver Amell]

"Not really. At least you only have to deal one at a time. If you're careful and you pick right and get tested before hand, you don't ever have to deal with that kind of thing."
