The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

[Varric]

"By all right, it should have been," Varric admits. "Interrupting a benign ritual can be disastrous. Interrupting a ritual like that? One dedicated to a deity that has reason to hate you?" He shudders a little.

[Marian Hawke]

"I remember..." She hesitates, then shakes her head. "I was surprised to wake up," she repeats instead. I don't want to think about any other deities right now.

[Varric]

"Change of topic?" Varric offers.

[Marian Hawke]

"I suppose we'd best," she says ruefully, her mind sticking regardless. Maybe I should worship Mileen.

[Varric]

"So. Clan name. Or last name I guess. Thoughts?"

[Marian Hawke]

"What? Uh, you don't like Tethras?"

[Varric]

"It's lost its luster," Varric says blandly.

[Marian Hawke]

"I don't have another name I like," she admits. "Hawke always meant bastard, to me. And I'm no Amell."

[Varric]

"Helene doesn't have one, not really," Varric muses out loud. "Clan Lightsong? Any idea how she feels about her last name? We could just make one up as a group, I suppose."

[Marian Hawke]

Marian blushes a little. "Uh. Maybe."

[Varric]

The dwarf narrows his eyes. "Did I step on romance or..?"

[Marian Hawke]

"Have you ever met Glory Lightsong?" Marian finds herself saying.

[Varric]

"A relative of Haliel's, presumably a parent? Not that I'm aware of, no."

[Marian Hawke]

"Her mom. And um. She has the most amazing ass I've ever seen on a living being. I met Haliel because I spent all day running stupid errands so I would have an excuse to come up behind her more often."

[Varric]

Varric stares. "And people wonder why I don't think not having a sex drive is bad?"
