Tobys cabin

[Acutis D'Vart]

Acutis shrugged. "Well, he said that you could leave if you wanted, and secondly, I wouldn't leave you stuck here. I mean, I'd rather not have to set fire to anything and so far Toby seems alright. A lot less chance of either death or...." He gave Toby a look. "Why would you even TRY killing me with my own arm?"

[Toby]

"What?"

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Oh! shit, right you didn't ask Jamie about that. It's more about my nature. I can...well, see doesn't really work but I can notice possibilities and one was that you would try to kill me with my own dismembered arm." He paused. "Granted that's if I demanded you return Jamie and stop using him as your breeding stock, but since I asked you both rather than just going of Sophia's description neither of us have to die of blood loss or extreme trauma." Acutis gave a smile. "So I'm glad you were pretty open about all that."

[Jamie D'vart]

"Please don't die!" squeaks Jamie, looking oddly ill. 

[Toby]

"No ones gonna die pup. You're safe here. And so long as your mom doesn't shoot me no ones going to get hurt."

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Yeah, that's what I was saying. We aren't trying to kill each other and I have both arms attached, so don't worry about that." Acutis sighed. "Tho, you might have a little trouble with that last part. Especially if she doesn't get to acutally talk to Jamie about this being something he's interested in, rather than you abducting him." Acutis sighed. "And I can already tell she's not going to completely believe me. Especially since I'm pretty sure I want to kill her current beau." He takes out his phone and types something on the screen, putting it back after a few minutes. "Any chance I can talk to her before this whole challenge thing happens?"

[Toby]

I check my phone callanderand nod "next council meetings in four days think you can manage it by then?" I ask

[Acutis D'Vart]

"I mean...I can call her." Acutis tilted his head to one side. "Well...at least I don't THINK she'll try to set me on fire." Acutis sighed. "This is actually a little more of a mess than I thought."

[Toby]

I sigh "yah it is. It shouldn't have been and to be honest I could have done this better, but I'm not a people person. I think that why I get along so well with the kids at the center they don't like people and I'm not really sure how to be one. " I pinch my nose and sight. "It's a mess but we'll get through it"

[Acutis D'Vart]

"We wi-" Acutis blinked a moment. "Uh...huh. Mind if we hold on a second." He turned to Jamie. "Are...you okay, Jamie?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," he says, putting on a brave smile. 

[Toby]

"Why don't you go work on homework Jamie and your dad and I can keep talking" I say gently

[Jamie D'vart]

"I don't have any--" Jamie blushes, licking his lips faintly as he looks down. "Oh. Okay. I'll go."

[Toby]

Once Jamie leaves I give mala our signal and she leaves the room too. I turn to Acutis and sigh. "He's having a hard time with all of this. Allots happened very quickly and it's mostly my fault. Like I said I'm not good with humans.... Is there anything you need to know from me before you tell Sophia not to shoot me?" I joke slightly standing up and opening the top cubbird. "Whisky?" I offer pulling down a bottle

"No thanks. Drinking is something I really only do after natural disasters. Mostly a safety issue." HE gave a nod. "To be fair, I'm not real good with them, either. I love them dearly, tho. It's amazing how they can just...be so varied despite similar backgrounds...Do you know anyone else she might want to shoot that she met here?"
