Tobys cabin

[Sophia D'Vart]

Sophia blinks. "The collar? That just gives him privacy from you, it shouldn't be hurting him."

[Toby]

"He said take it off." I growl

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Yes, but it also gives his Nature something else to fight and if it's doing that, it's going ot keep Jamie from being himself." He sighed. "And before you ask, the spell was for you. Even if I promised I wouldn't look, others might not be as honest with you and I thought it would make you feel more in control."

[Sophia D'Vart]

Sophia sighs, moving towards Jamie as she subtly flips Toby the bird. "Hey, kiddo. Hold still a minute, I'll get that off you."

Sophia reaches around to unclasp the collar, and Jamie flings his head forward, pressing his forehead against her chest. She pulls back looking more tired but also somehow more calm. "That's not nice," she scolds, with a yawn. 

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Okay, you're going to HAVE to let her take that off you without eating her or you're gonna be even MORE stuck, alright?"

[Sophia D'Vart]

"Jamie" growls, but as Sophia moves forward again, he stays put. The instant it's off, he lunges forward; ready for this, she lunges back, and he ends up using his bound hands to clumsily try to stop her. She dangles the collar from one finger, scowling at him. "Now. Give my son back, if you please." 

[Jamie D'vart]

His eyes dim, become some sort of sparkling green like nail polish rather than iridescent. Then he wavers, collapsing as he falls off the bed with a grunt. His head hits the ground, and a moment later, with a sickening crackle and slurping noise, a young wolf lays sprawled across the ground. He blinks, rolling to his feet, and his eyes go iridescent again as he growls, crouching, ready to spring. Only, as he's getting up, he's forgotten the magic bands; they tangle his front feet, fouling him up and sending him sprawling to the ground again. 

[Toby]

I chuckle softly "easy there pup." I murmur walking over to him, letting him sniff me, them I force him to change back into human form "there, better?"

[Acutis D'Vart]

Acutis jumped back a second at the shift. "...okay, didn't think of that." He tensed as he prepared to stop..oh...right, the spell would STILL work. "Didn't...think he'd manage to do that so fucking quickly."

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie hisses in fury, getting to his feet to rush at Sophia. 

[Toby]

"Heal!" I snarl in my alpha voice standing between Jamie and his mother. "Stand down!"

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie headbutts his alpha, tugging at his anger and draining a good chunk of it before he can step back, get out of the way. Well at least he's not spitting mad anymore. 

[Toby]

I stagger slightly but recover and growl low. "Behave yourself pup."

[Jamie D'vart]

"You're not my real dad," he sneers. 

[Acutis D'Vart]

"You HAD to realize I was right here" Acutis stepped forward, his eyes again a shocking green. "Normally I wouldn't want to limit you right now, but this is going to get MUCH worse if I don't. Now....Calm Down. If you're hungry, we can handle that once you're not fighting yourself." The light hum in the air as he let his Nature further out, feeling the ways and underpinnings of the moment.
