Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

Behind them, receding as they travel is a familiar presence, An immense hulking dome of black polished granite. and underneath the dome a single candle flickers... This feeling is immensely familiar to Siegfried, but it is also not the one he is looking for.

Siegfried's voice can be understood, then, in a dull monotone as though he's heavily disracted: A gas station. Texaco. Across from a supermarket.

It's only after he finishes that it becomes obvious he wasn't speaking aloud.

Obsidian, a little absent-mindedly, answers. "Alright, but how the hell am I supposed to narrow THAT down?"

[accalia]

Julie: Well how many gas stations are around here? there can't be that many nearby and you did say he would need to stop for gas soon.

As julie's head is still out the window her voice is somewhat distorted by the wind, but is much more comprehensible than the last time she tried this trick.

[yamikuronue]

A pause.

He's headed North.

[CalamityJade]

OBsidian nods. "Alright that is...doable...and did you just NOW figure out how to do that?" Seriously, There was some magic to how Julie did it, and it definitely wasn't in his HEAD like this was.

[yamikuronue]

To do... what? I feel... quite strange.

[accalia]

Julie: Probably time to come back then. we have a lead on him and it's not good to spend too much time away.

[CalamityJade]

Obsidian gave Julie a look. "Alright, I don't know what the hell you two are talking about, but if it's feeling off, Sieg, you should stop whatever it is you're doing." How is it that everything gets weird AFTER he shows up. Wouldn't this have been something to figure out a couple years ago?

Come... back? The voice sounds distant, bewildered.

[accalia]

Julie: You've gone out of body. Well done, now you need to find your way back to your body. Search for it, same way you went looking for Lance. You'll find it.

[yamikuronue]

I.. have? There's a pause. It's nice here. Peaceful.

[accalia]

Julie: I'm told it is peaceful, but if you want to be able to come back you should do so quickly. As I understand it you are not alone out there and many of the things out there would really like to use your body for themselves.

[CalamityJade]

"And it would be a rather bad time for such a thing to happen, driving and all...besides that, it's not like you couldn't visit it again." Obsidian would not panic because his nephew was currently floating on some...mental plane while he could become possessed and try and kill him. That was NOT what was going to happen and he sure as hell wasn't going to mention it out loud now...he'd just REALLY rather people be in their own bodies while in confined spaces.

My body... I suppose I must retain the source of my value. The voice sounds a bit less disinterested -- more wry, in that dry self-deprecating way Siegfried seems to talk about himself often.
