"He.... he really didn't." Lance shudders. "I remember some of it now."

[CalamityJade]

"...huh....I thought he didn't remember anything from back then." Well...not that he asked him a lot. Or got much of an answer to what he DID ask.

[yamikuronue]

"It was... He was scared. Terrified." Lance takes another deep breath.

[accalia]

"pups scare easily.... " Bitch observes, still patiently licking Lance's face.

[CalamityJade]

"And I'm sure you were as well." Obsidian could only guess at that...but it was probably true, right? Changing like that and not knowing what was going on had to be rough.

[yamikuronue]

He shakes his head. "I wasn't... there. I'm not, usually. This is.... a memory of his?" he asks, slowly, glancing at Bitch.

[accalia]

"everyone is a pup.... at first..."

[accalia]

"maybe. share memories... trauma mixes things.... is possible."

[CalamityJade]

"Honestly, kid, I'm a little out of my depth with this. Magic's one thing. You do something and get a result. I'm not even sure how all this works, but so far that makes the most sense."

[yamikuronue]

Lance nods, slowly. "Okay.... okay."

He takes another deep breath before forcing a weak smile onto his face. "...got any more tapes?"

[CalamityJade]

"A couple. There was seriously a lot of these things. But they can't all be good."

[yamikuronue]

"Okay."

Meanwhile, a very different group of people gather in a very different room, racking their brains for a solution. Vi throws herself onto the bed, dramatically, fiddling with her phone. "We need music."

[accalia]

"If Music is what you desire This one can provide....It will have to be acapella because this one did not bring one's guitar..."

Echo seems distracted and less than enthusiastic about the current subject of thought.

[yamikuronue]

"That's sweet, but I got tunes."

She hits a button, and an upbeat, shallow pop song begins to blare from her phone. Vi smiles, her head nodding to the beat.

[accalia]

Echo almost absent mindeldy begins singing along to the song under his breath, his timing is off though so he's consistently about a half bar ahead of the song.

Echo sits in a chair and draws a pad of paper close, tearing off a sheet of paper to fold into origami. Interestingly the shape he makes is extremely reminiscent of a mouth full of teeth.
