The Family [Finished]

"What if he does? Can you get me out?"

[accalia]

"probably, yeah. He's unlikely to pull strings above me."

[yamikuronue]

Vic nods. "Alright. So... I guess I ought to talk to him, then."

[accalia]

"If you want to, he's a good friend to have." tony agrees "Even if he was gunning for my job at one point."

[yamikuronue]

Vic nods. "Alright. I'll talk to him after work tomorrow. Uh, is he still on our shift?"

[accalia]

"He's fifty fifty. let me think..... this month he is our shift, yeah he should be around tonight, he's off three days after tonight though."

[yamikuronue]

As it so happens, Bear is at work that evening; Vic spends most of the shift avoiding him, blushing, and generally being awkward. But, at some point, Bear finds a note on his desk: "'

Ice cream tonight?

Circle:    yes     no

A minute or so later Vic is hit in the head with a paper airplane made of his note and Bear is nowhere to be found. Once unfolded Vic notes that the word "yes" has been circled with the additional question 'when?" scribbled next to it.

Vic blushes, then scribbles down, "After work?" as well as the time he gets off. he drops it casually by Bear's chair as he walks past toward the bathroom.

About an hour later another paper airplane lands on Tony's desk in front of Vic "Ice Cream for Breakfast? I like the way you think."

[yamikuronue]

Vic blushes again, but nods and goes about his work without responding. At least, not to Bear; a note finds its way to Tony's desk saying where he'll be just in case.

When it comes time for his shift to end, he heads to Bear's desk, shuffling awkwardly.

[accalia]

Bear smiles at Vic ans he puts the last of his paperwork away "Now, don't look scared, I'm much nicer than my namesake." he says laughing pleasantly.

[yamikuronue]

Vic forces an awkward smile onto his face. "Ready to go?"

[accalia]

"Sure am. Got a favorite place, or shall i take you to my favorite?"

[yamikuronue]

"Yours is fine."
