The Family [Finished]

"So why am I here?" he asks, then blushes. "I mean, why did you reach out to me?"

[accalia]

"Because you looked like you were having a rough time of it" Bear says with a shrug "Figured you could use a friend and you don't seem to have any of your own age so.... here I am."

[yamikuronue]

"Oh," he says, quietly. "Thanks. I've never really had a... friend, before. Just family."

[accalia]

"You're welcome, but hurry up with that spoon or you'll only have cream soup instead of icecream."

[yamikuronue]

Vic enjoys ice cream for the next few minute, unsure what else to say. What do you talk about with a friend?

[accalia]

they make it through about three quearters of the monster sundae before Bear puts down his spoon and clasps his hands to his head. "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!" he whimpers "ate too fast!"

Vic's eyebrows raise as he keeps eating. He's a teenager; he can eat forever and not get full. "You okay?" he asks, through a full mouth.

[accalia]

"Will be." Bear whimpers through the ice cream headache

[yamikuronue]

Vic chuckles. "Slow and steady, man, that's how you do it."

[accalia]

"Serves me right for trying to keep up with you" Bear complains bitterly, picking up the spoon once more.

[yamikuronue]

Vic smirks. "I'm an ice cream champion."

[accalia]

Bear smiles and admits defeat "Yeah, i yield. i yield." he says finally tossing his spoon to the table. i can't eat another bite.

Vic keeps eating, with a smile.

[accalia]

It isn't long before Vic finishes the last of the monster sundae with Bear watching. Bear pays the bill and offers to drive Vic anywhere he wanted to go today. "I kept you after work, least i can do is help you get home, or wherever you usually go after work."

[yamikuronue]

"Uh," he says, hesitantly. "I kind of... live with Tony now."
