The Family [Finished]

"You don't sound comfortable," she teases, but the relief in her voice almost drowns out the playfulness.

[accalia]

"Only because i keep falling off things because i'm too comfortable to pay attention properly."

[yamikuronue]

"I suppose it's time we had a talk, then," she says, moving back to her seat with a smile.

[accalia]

Tony nods. "One thing first. Vic! Are you listening in? If so get your butt in here and eavesdrop properly!"

[yamikuronue]

Vic, bright red, sheepishly comes around the corner into the kitchen, his hands jammed into his pockets awkwardly.

[accalia]

"Thank you." Tony says "I don't keep secrets in this house, so there's no reason to listen at doors. Grab a mug and take a seat, don't be afraid to ask questions or offer opinions"

Still flushed, staring at his toes, Vic grabs his mug and moves to sit at the table.

Kate smiles indulgently. "So."

[accalia]

"Buttons" Tony completes the verbal pun by rote before pausing and blushing fiercely "uhh...."

[yamikuronue]

Kate laughs. "Buttons indeed."

[accalia]

Tony waves at Kate in a 'go on" manner "You start, I've got to get my foot out of my mouth first."

[yamikuronue]

"So, it's time to talk about what we want from this." She gestures amicably between them. "Casual fun? Something more?"

[accalia]

Tony opens his mouth to answer, closes it, opens it again, closes it yet again before sighing "You know, last week there wasn't any possibility of either of those for me, It's hard to believe i have a choice other than 'bachelor forever'"

Kate nods. "So what do you want?"

[accalia]

"Yes." is Tony's answer. He wants, and hasn't had enough time to figure out his feelings regarding length of time.

Kate nods. "Dating? Or just fun?"
