"And you won't let me forget it." Tony says, walking over to the stove to start serving a... acceptable steak and some.... edible potatoes.

Kate moves to grab cups and drinks to help out. "Those were potatoes? Idaho or golden?" she asks, lightheartedly.

Tony shrugs "They were in the cupboard. I'm not sure how they got there. I'm just happy they were still recognizable."

[yamikuronue]

Kate stares at him oddly. "Were they still good?"

[accalia]

"They weren't growing yet." Tony replies. Potatoes are potatoes...... right?

Kate smiles, indulgently. "Well, I'm sure they're fine now that they're cooked."

[accalia]

"Burnt" Tony corrects, he is under no illusions as to his cooking abilities.

Kate nods. "Next date, I should cook for you."

[accalia]

"I think you can't possibly do worse than I did." Tony admits.

Kate laughs. "You're fine. I've met people who can burn water."

[accalia]

"but i...." tony starts to object before "What?!"

She laughs, sitting with her plate. "You're so tense. Relax a bit."

[accalia]

"Maybe once I've put the kid to bed." Tony replies, moving to the offensive for teasing.

Kate laughs, as Vic turns a bit red, focusing on his food. "Ah, the perils of single parenthood."
