Tony laughs at that. "true, but with me you stand a not insignificant chance of having your date getting struck by the holy lightning of retribution."

"I've never seen holy lightning. This should be fun." she teases.

[accalia]

"Not for me, I'm the one that would get smote!" Tony exclaims in mock horror

[yamikuronue]

"But it will be so educational! It's for the greater good, truly." She laughs as she says it, unable to contain her mirth.

[accalia]

"Fine, but next time i get to use you as the experimental subject." Tony quips, enjoying the banter.

[yamikuronue]

"And what sort of experiment do you have in mind?" asks Kate, that seductive tone coming back into her voice.

[accalia]

"Dunno, I figure i'll play it by ear if i survive your experiment." tony replies cheekily, pretending to ignore the flirting. He's pretty good at hiding, but not good enough. Kate can tell.

[yamikuronue]

"I've got a few in mind," she says, playfully. "If you're interested."

[accalia]

"Alright. Let's hear them. If i like one we might try it."

[yamikuronue]

"You could try to find out where I'm ticklish, for example," she says, keeping her tone light.

[accalia]

It's a good thing Tony's not driving, because his reaction would have surely caused a crash, and my that's a deep blush... yep...

"Uhh..... and why would I do that?"

Yeah, that false 'Nope, not interested in the slightest' isn't working at all ' tone ain't working. It came out as 'i'm very interested, but i can't becuase then I wouldn't have my secret,' and there's no way Kate didn't catch it.

"Oh, silly me. I had assumed you liked females." she keeps her tone light -- she knows damn well he likes females, given his blushing and his reactions. But she's careful not to use the word "heterosexual".

[accalia]

"Umm.... That's not the problem..... no." Tony says, the warring emotions and thoughts in his head leaving very little spare capacity for rational thought or conversation. If he was thinking clearer he would have chosen a different tack that didn't admit that he was indeed interested in Kate.

"So it's me then? I'm not your type?"

[accalia]

"Umm.... That's not the problem..... no." Oh real original Tony! Not only did you just confirm the attraction but that's what you answered last time, vary things up a little bit!
