Tony smiles at Vic's nervousness, He's doing better than most Tony has taught, not that he'll let the kid know that so soon, that anxiousness is a good teaching tool.

"Good, turn left and let's circle the lot once."

[yamikuronue]

Left turn, okay. He starts to turn the wheel, but not rapidly enough; the car begins making a wide turn, one that'll bring it into a collision course with a pickup truck in short order.

[accalia]

Tony reaches over and pulls the wheel a bit sharper to the left to avoid the pickup. "Don't be scared of the vehicle, It's only going to do what you tell it to." he coaches evenly.

[yamikuronue]

"Yeah but if I tell it wrong--" he starts, but breaks off, trying to focus. Okay. Turn the wheel more. Got it.

[accalia]

"If you tell it wrong it will do the wrong thing, yes." Tony agrees 'The whole point of this is to learn how to tell it to do the right thing. And the most important lesson is to no be afraid of it. Now there's a right hand turn at the end of this row."

[yamikuronue]

"Okay," says Vic. When he reaches it, he begins turning too early (nerves), but he does turn much more sharply than before.

[accalia]

"Ease off a bit. Don't want to scratch the paint on the chief's car." Tony cautions. The car at the end of the row is.... well it appears to be made of 90% rust to be quite honest.

[yamikuronue]

"That's the chief's car?!" he squeaks, turning the wheel a bit back the other way.

[accalia]

"Yes. He says he refuses to bring the good car within a mile of this place because too many cops and criminals would love to get one over on him. Another right turn here please, careful of the parked cars."

[yamikuronue]

This time Vic doesn't do half bad. He drifts a little over the invisible midline, but he manages to avoid the cars!

[accalia]

"Good, let's pick up the pace a bit to get to the end of this row, then a left turn please."

[yamikuronue]

Pick up the -- oh. He presses the gas pedal a little harder, and the engine roars as he entirely doesn't put it into second gear.

[accalia]

"Watch the revs, don't redline her. We'll work on shifting on the next straightaway." Tony advises calmly

[yamikuronue]

"Sorry," he apologizes, easing off the gas. "Woah!" he starts, suddanly noticing how close the turn is. He panics, trying to turn the wheel rapidly.

[accalia]

Tony grabs the wheel again, and straightens out the car before it hits a patrol car, once the danger is passed "What did i say about panic?" tony says calmly "Relax, I wouldn't have you doing this if i didn't think you could do it."
