Kate shakes her head with an indulgent chuckle. "That's not an answer and you know it. But, if you're alright enough to shake me off with philosophy, you're probably fine."

[accalia]

"Indeed, though i wonder about Vic, he's been looking for that box for quite a while now." Tony says with a grin "Maybe something 's wrong about his eyes?"

[yamikuronue]

Vic returns just then, carrying a shoebox. "I couldn't find the cardboard boxes so I grabbed this instead."

Kate smirks. Or he hung out in the hall eavesdropping, I bet. "Oh good, let's get this cleaned up."

Tony bends to the task of sweeping the broken glass into the box.

Kate kneels to help grab some of the bigger pieces and drop them gingerly into the box as well. "So, I suppose you'll need to go furniture shopping soon."

[accalia]

"If I can scrounge up the cash." Tony replies "A new couch is expensive."

[yamikuronue]

"Maybe. I know some places you can buy used, which helps cut the price."

[accalia]

Tony nods "Well, yes. But that doesn't solve the problem of salespeople, and.... you do never know exactly what you're buying...."

[yamikuronue]

"Fair enough. That's why you have to test it before you buy. Which can be fun," she says, with a smile.

Vic shuffles his feet, drifting away from the pair. He always feels awkward around Kate... it's not that he doesn't like her, just, he doesn't know how to talk to someone that normal.

[accalia]

"You can take the kid shopping then, he might actually enjoy it." Tony snaps as a green twig, softly and without fanfare. He doesn't like shopping and is more than happy to delegate the shopping when the opportunity arises.

[yamikuronue]

Kate shrugs. "I could."

[accalia]

Good going there Tony, you open your mouth and shove your foot right in.... You're not good at this whole relationship thing, if that's what this even is.... because of course you havent even talked to Kate to confirm what it is we have. How's that shoe leather tasting anyway?

[yamikuronue]

As Vic creeps off, Kate leans against the doorway. "So. Tea?"

[accalia]

Tea, right. Tony can handle tea. Where'd he put the kettle? Oh right, there it is. "Yes tea." he says as he fumbles his way through filling up the kettle and putting it on to boil.

Kate moves to the table, unwrapping the coffee cake she brought. "Where are your knives?" she asks, moving to the drawers.
