The Family [Finished]

"Second drawer from the left" Tony says indicating the drawer that is either second from the right edge of the counter or fourth drawer from the left of the sink.

Kate smiles to herself as she opens the indicated drawer, grabs a knife, and closes it again. "Plates?"

[accalia]

Tony frowns, he's not actually sure about that. he and Vic have been disagreeing on where the plates go.... who put the dishes away last?

"Try the cupboard at the end?"

[yamikuronue]

Kate tries the end cupboard, grabbing the last two plates in the cabinet -- the rest must be elsewhere, but she only needs two anyway. She shuts the cupboard and goes to slice the coffee cake.

Tony at this point notices that Vic has disappeared again and frowns "Squirrelly one he is." he comments as he prepares three mugs for tea

Kate shrugs. "If he re-appears, he can have cake. Up to him."

[accalia]

Tony frowns he doesn't like that Vic is so easy to disappear. "Well, hopefully he shows up before his tea gets cold."

[yamikuronue]

Kate nods, having a seat. "In the meantime, sit, relax."

[accalia]

Tony tries to sit as indicated and misses the chair entirely. Fortunately he's not carrying anything hot or breakable this time as he lands heavily on the floor.

Kate jumps up, moving to offer him a hand up. "Tony." she says, flatly, as she does.

[accalia]

"Always been a bit of a klutz when my mind is on other things." Tony explains sheepishly as he levers himself into the chair properly

[yamikuronue]

"What's your mind on?" she asks, very gently.

[accalia]

Tony just looks at Kate unamused, his expression clearly saying 'What do you think?'

[yamikuronue]

Kate gives a soft smile, tightly controlling her expression. "You know we don't have to do this if you're uncomfortable."

[accalia]

"Uncomfortable? Hardly!" Tony barks laughing "If anything the opposite is true!"
