"got to keep the men happy, but you also have to make them work the shifts they don't want or with the people they don't like. and then there's the investigations you have to sign off on, and the schedules you have to make.... It's hard, and annoying, and i'd much rather be told what to do and where to go, but that's not what the captain, and now IA wanted from me." Tony grouses "I hate being in command, but i was given this job and damnit i'm going to be good at it."

[yamikuronue]

Kate leans over to kiss Tony's cheek. "And I'll keep dropping in to make sure you're taking care of yourself while you're at it."

[accalia]

Tony smiles "I'll count on that i'm sure." He responds with another kissbefore asking  "How late do you think Vic will sleep? too long to be worth cooking breakfast for?"

[yamikuronue]

"He's a teenage boy. I'm sure he'll sleep about ten seconds longer than it takes the bacon smell to reach his nose."

[accalia]

Tony nods "And he's bound to be too light a sleeper to have some fun before he wakes."

[yamikuronue]

Kate nods. "So, we'll see him shortly."

[accalia]

Tony nods. "Well, I'd best get to it then.... How do you like your eggs?"

[yamikuronue]

"Oh no you don't. Sit. I'll cook." She smiles at him.

[accalia]

Tony sighs and sits back down "Well, at least this way we're guaranteed it will be edible i guess." he complains half heartedly. He had a groove on with complaining about the job, but Kate's cooking is not something he should really complain about,

"Exactly. So. If you want to mix the drinks, I'd appreciate it." Come to think of it, how did she get champagne? "You pour a bit of champagne into the glass, then top it off with the orange juice. An ex of mine says it's all the rage in Paris. It's called a Mimosa."

[accalia]

"So early in the day?" Tony teases, gettin gup to prepare the drinks as requested.

[yamikuronue]

"It's late for you, isn't it? That's basically the same thing."

[accalia]

Tony shrugs "I was never going to win that was i?"

[yamikuronue]

Kate's grin fades a bit. "If you're really opposed, we don't have to drink. I just thought you might like it."

[accalia]

Tony shrugs. "It's worth trying.but i'm not giving the kid.... not yet anyway. "
