So... what are marriage customs like in NA?

"Hmm...probably still has vows and parties. There's...kinda religion, but I don't think that weddings would be a particularly religious thing, considering how the people are.

Is it right to think that it's like real life, insofar as the wedding is basically a ceremony with no legal status, whereas the marriage is the legal contract signed by both partners?

Since there's so much emphesis on being 'Welcomed' it would probably be something where you have a symbol of the relationship and a big party to let everyone know. I don't know if there would be much of a legal reason

TBH, the real-world legal implications of marriage do seem to be limited to tax breaks, inheritance, annulments, and divorce proceedings.
