The Family [Finished]

Kate nods, hefting her purse. "Fair enough. Tomorrow, then," she says, smiling as she departs.

Vic waits until she's out of earshot before clearing his throat. "There's a man outside."

[accalia]

Tony frowns, he had hoped Vic would tag along with Kate, but... well maybe that was too soon.

"And i assume he wants to see me?" Tony asks of Vic.

[yamikuronue]

"I don't know." He glances over his shoulder at Kate, packing up her stuff. "I don't want to drag Kate into this if it's me they're after."

[accalia]

'Well, if he's here for us he can apply at the front desk or wait for us to finish this last bit of paperwork." Tony says, plainly intending to keep busy until Kate is out of the office entirely

Vic nods, slowly. "Okay."

As he turns to go, Kate calls out, "Are you coming with, Vic?"

He shakes his head. "Can't. Busy."

Kate sighs. "Well, another time, then."

[accalia]

"No icecream for you then?" Tony asks curiously as he reaches for another document

"I'd have to leave. And walk right past that guy. I'll wait until you're done and walk out with you, just in case."

[accalia]

Tony nods. not entirely surprised. "well.... grab a paper then, if we tag team these documents we'll get out of here faster"

[yamikuronue]

Vic sits, tucking into the paperwork.

[accalia]

The paperwork takes only another ten minutes or so. Once finished Tony looks out the window "Think our friend's still waiting?"

[yamikuronue]

"Probably," says Vic, packing up his stuff. "You carrying?"

[accalia]

"I'm at the office. No, i'm not carrying. But then he won't make trouble in our parking lot either. Let's see what's up, shall we?"

[yamikuronue]

Vic nods, falling into step behind Tony.

The man outside is leaning against the wall by the door; he nods at Tony, but puts his foot out to stop Vic from following him. Wait. He's waiting for Vic?

"Kid. Cm'ere." he grunts.

[accalia]

Tony stops, and turns to face the man "Good morning." he says in greeting.

[yamikuronue]

The guy grunts and nods, a primitive greeting but a greeting.

Vic freezes in place, taking a step back from the guy. Well, he's not drawn a gun, so that's a plus.
